iCHANGE – Polaris Dance Theatre – Part II

Once again Polaris Dance Theater was simply amazing, as they debuted their new work iCHANGE at the Newmark Theatre.  In addition to their own work, Polaris brought in New York City’s KDNY, for their first west coast appearance.  It was two nights of incredible talent, energy and passion in dance.  As always, Robert Guitron did brilliant job on choreography and music.  I would love to get in his mind, and experience his vision….He is absolutely inspiring.

If you were not part of the Newmark Theatre crowd, I urge you to go to their site, and get on their mailing list…You need to experience these dancers! Not only are they putting together amazing shows, they are also committed to community involvement, and need your support!  You can also become a fan on their facebook page

Special offer to all supporters: $50 off BMAC Studio to all who attended the show…
or commit to attending the next!

A little different perspective from Friday night, just to keep things interesting.

Jean-Luc Boucherot

Okay, this was from a shoot a while back, but that’s beside the point….French actor Jean-Luc Boucherot is in Portland, working on his play “L’Arbre Migrateur”, which will be performed in French.  Without understanding a single word, I find myself mesmerized by his performance.  It’s absolutely brilliant.  Hopefully we’ll soon have details worked out, and you all can experience for yourself!

So, this is Jean-Luc

Namita & Ryan

Namita & Ryan made a quick trip to Portland, with just enough time for a little New Year’s Day shoot. With the weather not cooperating, we played in the studio, where a I made a wonderful discovery….It’s not about the perfect location. If you have two people in love, who truly enjoy being together and having fun, it doesn’t matter where you shoot. These two are amazing, and it was the perfect start to a new year. I can’t wait for their wedding in San Francisco later this year!

Wahkeena Sitka

A few from today, with Sitka in the studio….Since I can’t put it in my one words, I’ll let her explain: “I offer myself as a practitioner of Intuitive Embodywork Sessions infused with Sacred Sound Healing”. You can check out more here:  Embodied Being

Was left with two words….Beautiful energy.

And have to give a big thank you to Nicole Wagner for working her magic with the makeup!
