Over the past few days, a number of people have mentioned a local bar the pulls some great music. Well, last night, needing a little vacation from my head, I decided to venture down to the Landmark Restaurant & Lounge and see what it’s all about. I arrived early, so there were but a few folks sitting at the bar. It didn’t take long before I felt totally welcome, in what seems to be the way of Yachats. When the time arrived, Hookah Stew took the stage. Wow, these guys were impressive. Seems as if they could play anything thrown at them, with some fabulous rockin renditions of Johnny Cash. You definitely got the sense, that the guy on guitar would be willing and capable of going head to head with any of the greats. He plays a mean Hendrix. If you get a chance, you should definitely check these guys out. Oh, and when you come to Yachats, you must check out a show at The Landmark.
