That’s right, 20 years ago I graduated from Rex Putnam High School. Well, this past weekend was the big reunion, and I was fortunate to be able to make it. I say fortunate, because it seems that most of the class was not as fortunate as myself and failed to show up. I’m sure they just couldn’t find a babysitter….for one night in twenty years. It was just nice to see some old faces and hear some stories. I for one, am very happy to say that I made my 20th reunion.
Okay, there were some issues….
I had a few too many in preparation for the big event. Between the social anxiety and inability to remember a name, I found myself a bit of a wreck. As it turns out, I really didn’t need the multiple vodka tonics before going in.
To my surprise, not everyone loved me 20 years ago….who would have thought. Well, at least they were finally able to get that off their chest.
For some reason, it seems that Rex Putnam produces a large number of committed individuals….there were not nearly the number of divorced women I was hoping for. Oh well, maybe at the 30.
Yes, it was great to see everyone, and it was really wonderful how happy everyone was to see me…..
